I grew up in the sunny state of Florida, where I enjoyed playing various outdoor sports including soccer and golf - often spending weekends at the beach. During the summer months, I had the unique experience of traveling all around the United States alongside my parents, who both dedicated over 35 years of their lives to teaching.

In college, I pursued a degree in photography after becoming enamored with the beauty of black and white film. My interest in graphic design as a viable career path also took shape, leading me to acquire knowledge through hands-on experience. I became a designer for both the college literary magazine and the newspaper, where I honed my craft further.

Although I freelanced in graphic design, I felt drawn to education and ultimately landed a fulfilling role teaching traditional arts at the high school level. Over the course of six years, I taught a range of subjects including drawing, painting, ceramics, and digital art. However, the creative urge to focus on my own craft full-time increased, which led me to transition into a full-time graphic design position within the exciting world of motorsports.

Now, nearly a decade later, as the Director of Creative Operations and Photography at NASCAR, I have accumulated a wealth of experience in various areas including print and digital design, brand development, creative direction, creative workflows, people management, budget oversight, photography direction, as well as the intricate art of change management.
